Florida E.N.T. & Allergy is proud to welcome Dr. Alexis Tavolaro, AuD, CCC-A, to our growing audiology team. Dr. Tavolaro is now seeing patients at our Mid Tampa office, offering advanced hearing care and personalized solutions for both adult and pediatric patients.

Education and Clinical Background

Dr. Tavolaro earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Nova Southeastern University, following her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida. She completed her residency at the USF Morsani College of Medicine Hearing and Balance Clinic, where she developed expertise in a wide range of hearing and balance evaluations.

She is board-certified by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Specialties and Professional Expertise

Dr. Tavolaro’s specialties include:

• Diagnostic hearing evaluations for both adults and children
• Counseling and aural rehabilitation to help patients adapt to hearing loss
• Selection and fitting of hearing aids, including advanced technology and custom solutions

Her approach to patient care is centered on compassion, education, and ensuring every patient has the tools and knowledge they need to hear better and enjoy life more fully.

When Dr. Tavolaro isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking her dog on long walks, going to the beach, and traveling. Her warm personality and commitment to patient care make her a wonderful addition to the Florida E.N.T. & Allergy team.
